"Trigger"

Texas Jacks Hombre, known as “Trigger,” is a stunning palomino gelding with a long, snow-white mane and tail that truly sets him apart. Beauty aside, Trigger is an exceptional, well-seasoned gelding with the experience and disposition to match his looks.

Trigger has been in the same program for the past two years, serving as a 72 year-old man’s primary mount. Together they have doctored cattle, sorted, and drug calves. He has been hauled extensively to gather cattle in multiple locations sometimes even catching cattle right in town proving his reliability and real-world usefulness.

Beyond ranch work, Trigger has been taken on numerous trail rides. He confidently crosses water, logs, ditches, brush, and other obstacles without hesitation. He is the kind of gelding you can pull out once a month for a friends’ ride and he’ll saddle up and go just the same as the last time, quiet, steady, and dependable wherever you take him.

Trigger stands quietly tied to a trailer or fence, loads easily, and hauls calmly. He has also been ridden in several town parades, including the Denton County Parade in Texas, where he handled sirens, lights, and heavy crowds with ease.

He is easy to bathe, groom, clip, and saddle, making him a pleasure to handle on the ground as well as under saddle. Trigger is an all-around incredible gelding for someone looking for a beautiful, well-broke horse with a proven resume and the temperament to enjoy for years to come.
